Preparation Checklist

Confirm Testing Program

Ensure your quotation is accepted and testing program is confirmed. Contact us if you have questions about applicable standards or test scope before shipping samples.

Review Sample Requirements

Verify the sample requirements specified in your quotation, including condition, preparation, and any special handling instructions.

Gather Documentation

Include: Test Request Form (provided by FTRL), product datasheet, manufacturing/batch information, special handling instructions, and PO reference number.

Verify Sample Condition

Samples must be production-representative, in new condition, with all components intact. Ensure extinguishers are filled and pressurized, agents are from the same production batch, and all labeling is complete.

Important Notes

  • Shipping costs are the client's responsibility
  • Insurance is recommended for high-value equipment
  • Include packing list and reference numbers with shipment
  • International shipments: include commercial invoice and customs documentation

After Samples Arrive

Receipt Confirmation: You receive confirmation within 1 business day of sample arrival.

If Issues Found: We contact you immediately for any damage, quantity discrepancies, or condition issues before proceeding.

Storage: Samples are stored under controlled conditions appropriate for the equipment type.

Sample Disposition: Samples are held for 30 days after report issuance. Collection is at client cost. After 30 days, samples are disposed of per standard procedures.
