Fire Test & Research Laboratory is India’s first & leading fire testing laboratory. 

The laboratory was established in 2005 and today it is the most preferred choice of customers for their fire performance and other testing needs. FTRL being accredited from National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL), our test reports are widely accepted & recognized across the globe, which gives customers value to their products and also can access different markets around the world.

We continuously update our Scope of Accreditation for latest National & International Standards as per customer’s requirements for their products to be tested & accepted globally.

The profile of activities of FTRL is quite wide. The facilities and services of FTRL are open to and are being availed-off by Fire Safety Equipment Manufacturers, Research and Development Organisations and Regulatory Authorities, which use laboratory services for Third Party Testing and Certification. As an independent test laboratory, the FTRL also provides test services for different fire & safety appliances to general public, firefighting service providers and others concerned with quality of equipment’s, chemicals and materials used in firefighting. The laboratory activities consist of Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Performance Testing within laboratory premises as well as field fire testing.
